Review guidelines
These standards help people share useful experiences while protecting reviewers, businesses, and the integrity of the platform.
Last updated 26 October 2026
Share a genuine experience
Write about an experience you personally had with the company. Be honest, specific, and fair. Reviews should help other people understand what happened and help the company learn from it.
- Describe the product or service, when the experience happened, and what went well or poorly.
- Review the correct company and focus on its service rather than unrelated events.
- Update your review if the company resolves the issue or your experience changes.
Keep reviews independent
A review must reflect the reviewer’s own opinion. Companies and reviewers must not manipulate ratings or create a misleading picture of customer sentiment.
- Do not post reviews for money, gifts, discounts, refunds, or other incentives.
- Do not review your own business, an employer, a direct competitor, or a company where you have another material conflict of interest.
- Do not submit duplicate reviews, coordinate review campaigns, or use multiple accounts to influence a score.
Protect privacy
Do not publish personal or confidential information. You can explain what happened without exposing someone else’s private details.
- Leave out phone numbers, personal email addresses, home addresses, account numbers, payment details, and government identifiers.
- Avoid naming individual employees unless their identity is already public and directly relevant.
- Never share passwords, access links, medical records, or other sensitive documents.
Content we do not allow
- Threats, harassment, hate, discrimination, graphic content, or encouragement of illegal activity.
- Impersonation, fraud, spam, advertising, irrelevant links, or machine-generated content presented as a real experience.
- Claims stated as proven facts when the reviewer cannot reasonably support them.
- Content that infringes intellectual property or exposes confidential information.
What happens when a review is reported
A report does not automatically remove a review. Rewiew assesses the specific concern and may ask for clarification, supporting context, or an edit. Content can be restricted or removed when it breaks these guidelines, and repeated or serious abuse can lead to account limits.
