Privacy

This notice explains the information Rewiew handles, why it is needed, and the controls available to account holders.

Last updated 26 October 2026

Information we collect

  • Account details such as your name, email address, authentication records, and account preferences.
  • Content you submit, including reviews, replies, reports, company profile information, and invitation records.
  • Technical and security data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, device signals, and activity needed to protect the service.
  • Billing and plan status when paid services are available. Payment card details are handled by the selected payment provider rather than stored directly by Rewiew.

How we use information

  • Provide accounts, publish reviews and replies, operate company profiles, and deliver requested features.
  • Verify ownership and invitations, prevent fraud and manipulation, investigate reports, and secure the platform.
  • Communicate about account activity, service changes, and operational matters.
  • Measure reliability and improve the service using aggregated or appropriately limited data.

When information is shared

Public reviews, reviewer display details, company replies, and business profile information are visible to platform visitors. We may use service providers to host data, deliver email, process payments, monitor reliability, and protect the service. They receive only the access needed for their role.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect people or the platform, or as part of a business reorganisation with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information for money.

Retention and security

We keep information while it is needed to provide the service, maintain platform integrity, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Retention can differ by data type. We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Signed-in users can review account information and use available account controls to edit content, export their data, or request account deletion. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or legitimate dispute handling.

Browser controls can limit cookies and similar storage, although essential authentication and security features may need them to work. Privacy rights vary by location; requests are assessed under the rules that apply to the user and the service operator.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes should be communicated through the service or the account email when appropriate.
